Keyboard & trackpad not working. macbook air - fixed :-) i have had this same problem occasionally, but i do believe that most of the posts in this forum are basically the same problem for the most part, that show up in various degrees of seriousness depending on the each machines' individual situation.. Testing conducted by apple in september 2015 using pre-production magic trackpad 2 devices, firmware and software with shipping imac systems. testing consisted of full battery discharge while engaging the device on a paired imac using automated equipment.. Hardware repair attempt #2. the antenna and airport module replacement did not fix the problem, and neither did os x 10.11.1. so i took the imac back to the apple store, and they’re currently replacing the airport module again – this time with one from a different manufacturer..
